Catherine Alexander

My mother in law Margaret Alexander persuaded me that everyone is able to enjoy painting, and got me started 40 years ago. We spent many happy hours together both on their farm in Australia and here in the Lake District, and once on a painting holiday in France. As a result when I see a really beautiful scene it gives me huge pleasure to paint it. This  is renewed every time I see it. I hope my feelings are revealed in my paintings.
