Kendal Art Society meets on a weekly basis throughout the year, with several outdoor meetings during the summer

Members and non-member guests are all welcome. If it is your first time, please introduce yourself or feel free to get in touch online ahead of a meeting so that someone knows to look out for you.

Our regular base is the Abbot Hall Social Centre in Kendal on Thursday mornings but please check here for timings and venues for individual events and meetings.

    If you have never been to Sprint Mill, its well worth a visit.  Barns full of really interesting things, beautiful old buildings, trees and a river as well as many ducks and chickens. Free parking.

    Lizzie has a pretty little garden near Gooseholme, Kendal. Sketch in the garden, or over near the river although, at the moment, that can be a little noisy with all the flood defense work!
