Ben McLeod will be painting a landscape or seascape in oils. There will be a small cost of £5.00 in order to help with expenses, but refreshments will be supplied.

Members bring in work produced since October to view. Members will also bring in some snacks for a Christmas lunch.

Session to get back after Christmas, so use winter as a theme to sketch or paint.

Using pencil, graphite or charcoal, look at lines, shading and mark making, then analyse your own photograph in order to decide how to use it prior to making a painting.

Use your notes or memory from the last week session and turn your photo into a painting.

Demonstration of water colour - £5.00 per person

Use a black and white photograph or sketch to paint or draw a picture.  Don't look at a colour version of your photo and so imagine the colours from the tones you see.

Jayne lancaster is mainly an animal artist, who does lovely loose paintings of animals and birds.  She is a member of GreenDoor, and can be found on Facebook and Instagram. This workshop will be from 10.00 to 12.30 and there is a charge of £10.00.  Please book in advance. Bring watercolours, ink pens, pencils etc.
