Sea and Sky Painting, using a Limited Palette

Use any medium you like to paint or draw a sea and sky scape.  We will be using two consecutive sessions using this subject and will try to use a limited palette.

This technique is used by many great masters, including John Singer Sargent, Claude Monet and Anders Zorn. A limited palette can mean selecting the fewest paints possible to create the widest range of tones on the spectrum.
